Just to clear the situation, and avoid confusion, I strongly believe the iotlab-m3 node **has no** ds1307 on board, according to the [doc](https://github.com/iot-lab/iot-lab/wiki/Hardware-M3-node) and [schematics](http://github.com/iot-lab/iot-lab/wiki/Docs/openm3-schematics.pdf).

Is it relevant for your issue according to my results?

Again my setup: nrf52dk + arduino shield with ds1307. tests/driver_ds1307/ also pass with my setup.
