#### Description
Example: Cannot build gnrc_networking application for samr21-xpro board.
I made a fresh checkout of the latest RIOT repo, and used vagrant to setup the enviornment on a vm. Then I went to examples, and did just make. However I was unable to compile.

#### Steps to reproduce the issue
Try to describe as precisely as possible here the steps required to reproduce
the issue. Here you can also describe your hardware configuration, the network
setup, etc.
1) checkout a fresh version of RIOT
2) vagrant up
3) vagrant ssh
4) go to examples-> hello world
5) make
#### Expected results
Example: The gnrc_networking application builds on samr21-xpro.

#### Actual results
Please paste or specifically describe the actual output.
