The link local address `fe80::/10` is always given independent on how many prefixes the router/gateway of the LAN distributes and how many IPv6 addresses a GNRC network interface can have. Since privacy extensions are not supported (or at least not enabled), this link local address is derived from the MAC address and fixed.

That is, as long as the route from the LAN machine to the ESP-NOW network behind the border router uses the link local address of ESP's WiFi interface as next hop, it should work.
