@roberthartung: While trying to figure out the issue that causes Murdock to give up, I added some commits. (I also messed up to pass the right commit ID to `--fixup=`, the last commit addresses an issue in the first commit of this PR.) Please note that 1 level of indent is 2 spaces in a Makefile, not 4. (But it is indeed 4 spaces in C source and header files.)

@kaspar030: I have no idea what is going wrong here. Murdock fails to parse the Makefiles of all exmaples and tests that have not blacklisted one or more ATmega based boards. This PR adds/changes Makefiles for ATmega based boards, so likely there is some issue. But I cannot find it. Could you help?
