Tested against PHiLIP to confirm big endian with the nucleo-f091rc.

_note_ This only fixes devices that implement the driver read/write reg functions.  Some may still need to be changed (but since the documentation didn't specify before that can be a different pr/issue)

This adds 15688 - 15664 = 24 bytes, much more if you don't use the byteorder library.
