This driver is still not a netdev, at least not in its present for. Do you have any pointers to the new radio HAL? I guess I've missed it altogether.

"Typical use case" is a bit of a stretch, given that there are only a couple ongoing efforts brought along by me, AFAIK.
It will be used to implement simple sensor nodes, which report back to a more intelligent gateway.

While I do want to add full RIOT's networking capabilities, in this first step I'm just striving to get the basic radio layer in good shape for inclusion.
