I would love to have a tutorial on both what you did with the IoT-Lab,  and also on using socket_zep.

What I sense is that people are reluctant to merge because this is rather hard to test; the possible regressions are too many.
In effect we really need unit test cases that take a single node (running in native), which then feeds packets in from pcap, and checks what it produces.  This is something I'd like to have time to do, but I don't right now.  I would be happy to mentor someone to do this.
But, from what I read above, it looks correct to me.
